Chapter 7: Death
Death is not an end, but the dissolution of form and the rebirth of energy, a return to the cosmic cycle in another way, with energy brewing for the next blossoming in its flow. The new collection uses the raven’s vanishing as a metaphor, with the cape inspired by the raven’s wings, the gray-black hue presenting the shedding layers of form; the entire body is covered with lace in a perforated structure, leaving the interwoven texture of reality and void echoing the boundary between existence and vanishing; the floral embroidery hints at the patterns of the life cycle; the ruffle collar design of the cape creates a scattering visual effect when in motion.
